Laxmi Tailors is a suit tailor in Jakarta, at work since 1949 and now run by the third generation. We are the only tailor in Indonesia to offer suits stitched entirely by hand. We offer two bespoke services: Bespoke Classic, sewn by conventional machine methods, and Bespoke Handmade, made entirely by hand without a sewing machine. Bespoke Classic
Sewn by our tailors using conventional machine methods, with the same pattern, measurements, and fittings as the handmade service. The result is a suit with a precise cut that sits cleanly on your frame.
Bespoke Handmade
Every part of the suit, from the canvas and lapels to the buttonholes, is stitched by hand without a machine. Each stitch holds the time, care, and skill of the tailor who made it. Your suit is more than a garment: it is a piece made by hand, with a story behind it.

Suit Tailoring Prices in Jakarta
The price of a suit at Laxmi Tailors reflects the service you choose, the cloth, and the hours of work in each piece.
What affects the final price:
- Service. Bespoke Classic or Bespoke Handmade.
- Fabric. The weight, composition, and origin of the cloth.

What is the difference between an ordinary suit tailor and a bespoke tailor?
An ordinary suit tailor generally works from a standard pattern adjusted to your size. A bespoke tailor draws a new pattern for each client, based on their measurements and posture, then refines it through fittings.
